How Can I Report Pictures Of 15 Year Olds Drinking And Smoking On Myspace?

Apparently, if there are pictures of underage kids drinking and smoking on myspace, you can’t actually prove they are doing anything, even with beer bottles held up to their mouth, cigarettes between their lips, and shot glasses filled with vodka being swallowed. Is there anything I can do to get some attention to this?

Well it is good that you are concerned.
If you are in school you can print them out with the names and grades of the people on it and submit them anonymously, but seeing it is summer and i don’t think anyone in the US is in school unless it is summer school.
If you know the parents email address you can make an email address where they can’t figure out it was you and send it to them, but then again parent these days encourage their kids to drink and smoke.
Another option is showing the police but, I think that would be an overreaction and the cops would think you are crazy because the probably see it all the time.
You can also try the embarrassment way ( but I dont know if it is illegal or not..) So if you do and get in trouble it is not my fault lol. Print the pictures out and write phrases on it like “Make the right choices be above the influence” or anything like that. And post them at popular shopping centers around the town.
Or act cool with them and next time you know when or where they are having a party with alcohol, call the cops and tell them you know they are using alcohol and possibly illegal substances underage, and that you are very concerned. They SHOULD (doesn’t mean they will) go to the house and take them in to the police station.
But, if you can’t get through any of those ways just don’t let it bother you and make the right choices not to do those thinks and if you MUST don’t take pictures. Doing that stuff is disgusting as it is.

And you’ve never done anything like that have you?
Anyway, there’s a lot of good answers here. Some include “Mind you own business” “Leave them alone” “Tell their parents”
I think… you should just ignore them. Really why do you want to report these pictures anyway? Is your main goal to get them into trouble? Or are you thinking your going to be self-righteous and noble in reporting them? If you really want to do something tell their parents. I’m sure they’ll do something (whether good or bad depends on the parents and your own opinion). My parents personally didn’t care when I tried it, they don’t support it, but they were younger once too.
Anyway, I actually see a little fallacy with your question. If you can’t prove they’re drinking it, like you said, then how DO YOU know they are? Like you said, maybe they’re not actually drinking or smoking. I mean, how would you know unless you were with them? And don’t tell me it’s because you’ve heard other people. Again, you didn’t SEE them drinking or smoking, it could just be gossip. And them telling you isn’t any better, after all, they could be lying just to seem cool or whatever.

ya heres what you can do… get a life and stop trying to ruin the lives of those minors who break insignificant laws considering most of us have made the same destructive decisions when we were young. kids learn from experience so let them experience life so they are prepared to live on their own one day instead of sheltering them from everything… seriously just leave it be. if there not your kids it’s not your business.

  4. wes Says:

why do you want to report them????
yeah there young and shouldnt be doing stuff like that
but you have no clue what kind of impact that could have on there lives
or how family members would act if they have abusive parents or other family members do you want to put them in that situation???
would you want to be put in that situation???

  5. Josh Says:

For God’s sake, just mind your own business. How many seconds do you think it will take those kids to put the pictures up again? It isn’t your job to police the whole world, and removing a few pictures isn’t going to have any effect on the actual behavior.
