What Do You Think Of Minors Smoking Pot?
I myself started smoking pot when i was 15 and i used to do it everyday back then. I would get in all kinds of things but thankfully weed was the only drug i’ve ever tried. Back then, i used to smoke with my friends and their parents and anyone that smoked weed, i thought it like brought people together but now that im 22 i look at teenagers that smoke pot and it just kind of makes me realize how stupid i was but idk thats just my opinion. What do you guys think of it?

It is just.. not good. It does brain damage, doesn’t it? I’m happy that you stopped though, because I wouldn’t want you wasting your life away smoking weed. I wish more people were like you so they could realize that it’s ruining their life.

i dont agree with the answer ..
it doesnt head you in the wrong position
ive smoked pot many times, just for entertainment
and im a senior in college, just got offered
a full ride scholorship to one of the biggest
colleges in the nation for Golf.
im not headed in the wrong direction, i understand the
side effects, i do it responsibly and im not addicted.
i believe if teenagers do it maturely and just understand
what COULD happen, then its fine.
and its their own choice.

It always makes me shake my head in disbelief with folks talk about how marijuana is just no big deal. The problem is that, whether it’s OK or not OK, it’s ILLEGAL. That means a) you can get arrested, b) you have to deal with lawbreakers to get it.
And what are the likely outcomes? Either a) you do something stupid for a while, end up deciding that it’s stupid, and eventually quit; b) you do something stupid for a while, end up deciding you want to up the ante and get into harder and harder drugs until you thoroughly ruin your health and your life (I know several friends who have done just that) or c) you get shot in a drug deal gone bad (I have one friend who is at room temperature, even though he “only” used marijuana.)
Bottom line, it’s pointless and self-destructive? Why get into this? Even if the “pro-marijuana” people are 100% correct, and marijuana is shown to be 100% perfectly fine…. it’s not 100% without big time risks and always will be.
BTW, I didn’t address this as separating minors from adults, because nothing changes.

I smoke some ganja. I see nothing wrong with it. I don’t like when people hate on other people for smoking pot. It shouldn’t even be illegal. Alcohol and cigarettes are among the top ten killers in America. There has not been one recorded death from smoking weed. I think it should be someones personal opinion whether they do or not.
I don’t do it to fit in or be cool. I don’t even do it very often, maybe once a week, if that. I like it

i think it is fine for some minors to smoke pot. i myself am a teen and i have friends that do smoke pot and it makes them happy. i think it is fine if you are doing it to just have a good time hang out with some friend. its also fine if you do it to help with depression. i dont think it is okay if the minor is smoking pot just to be rebelious and to piss of their parents. if you want to do it for fun and arent stupid about it then you are fine.

No minors should use any drugs.
I have used probably every drug out there, and the only street drug that should be decriminalized is pot.
But it should be treated like alcohol, only allowed for 21 and up and in places where the drug can be used safely.

it’s really does depend on the person
i personally don’t smoke
but i know that it helps some acquaintances of mine deal with their life and problems in a calm rational way
instead of in a reckless way like if they turned to alcohol

Anyone smoking marijuana is illegal. The laws are put in place for this for good reasons. They just didn’t put them there against drug use for the heck of it. It leads to worse things that you can’t imagine.

I don’t think much of minors smoking anything – or adults, for that matter. I know the harm it does. I watched my father and my mother die of lung diseases brought on by smoking.
