I have been smoking for over 30 years. I have cut down significantly since my son was born, never smoking around him, never in the house. I would like to kick the habit and would like some advice on who has used what produce and had the most success.
i’ve been smoking a year, and compared to a lot of people that doesn’t seem like a long time. but i’ve tried to quit a few times and i can’t stick to it for more than a day or two. my bf and sister also smoke…well most everyone i know smokes except my parents and brother so everywhere i go there’s temptation. what’s the best way to quit smoking and stick to it? do those nicotene gums or w/e work? or those new cough drops for quitting? i heard a few people chewed liqourice. and i really want to stop because i’m getting a smokers cough and get flem in my throat. (yes it’s disgusting that’s why i want to quit i regret starting) any one have advice on quitting? thanks
Ive been smoking since about feburary. I only smoke about a pack every 4 days, but i have noticed my lung capacity is a lot shorter than it used to be which i know is normal. but if i quit smoking do you regain the lung capacity that you once had or is it damaged forevor?
OK, second hand smoking is no longer a problem, first-hand smoking is none of their business. You’d think there would be something more important for them to occupy their empty existence with. What assignment would you give them?
They’ve been smoking my whole life, and I’ve tried every way to get them to stop. My Mom is all for quitting but she can’t quit if Dad doesn’t, you know… ’cause of the temptation. Dad would just yell at me if I asked him to quit and I don’t see any way to get him to quit without him being cooperative enough to not yell at me when I ask him to. I’m concerned for my mothers health and mine also (you know, the whole secondhand smoke thing).
